Leave a Legacy

A gift to the East Anglian Air Ambulance means that we will be able to continue to offer the people of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Peterborough and Suffolk a life-saving emergency helicopter service.

We receive no direct government or National Lottery funding, being entirely reliant on public donations.

Making a Will

make a will supporting EAAATo prepare a Will for the first time we recommend that you consult a solicitor. Making a Will is the only way to ensure that your wishes will be respected and that your loved ones are remembered. We need to consider a Will whatever our age or circumstances.

Thinking of making or changing your Will?

One of the advantages to you of leaving a gift to a charity like the East Anglian Air Ambulance is that the money is taken out of the estate before inheritance tax is assessed, so by including us in your Will you can both reduce or avoid tax and know that you will be helping keep the air ambulance flying to serve the people of East Anglia.

Charity Will scheme

Woodfines Solicitors who cover the West of our region have launched a charity Will scheme to benefit the East Anglian Air Ambulance.  The company has also generously supported us by holding charity golf events.

Download a leaflet about their charity Will scheme here.

Making or changing your will

There are two ways in which you could leave a gift in your Will.

Residuary Bequest

Residuary request EAAA
You can leave the residue of your estate to the East Anglian Air Ambulance, whereby, all that is remaining in the estate after other bequests, debts and charges are cleared is passed on to the charity. This is known as a Residuary Bequest.

Pecuniary Bequest

Pecuniary Bequest
You can name a specific amount of money to be paid once your estate is settled. This is known as a Pecuniary Bequest. We know that your own family and peace of mind have to be the priority when considering your Will. We simply ask that you consider the East Anglian Air Ambulance. We can assure you that each gift will go towards saving more lives in East Anglia for many years into the future…

Your Solicitor will require our address and registered charity number.
